Prague

Day 1

Nothing much happened as it was getting dark when I arrived. Decided to take a walk to St Charles Bridge and back, but photos turned out pretty bad.

I walked, walked some more and then some! Spent the whole day with the free tour, with Siena being an excellent guide. She walks too fast though! Thanks to my tour and lunch buddies, Maggie (Florida, US), Kheoma (Brazil) and Sheila (Brazil) for making my day. Oh also to a French and Malaysian couple who joined us for the second half =)

Had a random encounter in a pub just now. I was having dinner when this drunk Czech guy came over and started showing me card tricks. His name was Petr and we tried talking, but all that came out was "I love Prague" and "have to call my mother because she is my mother". Kept me entertained though so I bought him a beer. Holy crap! 0.5 litre (1 pint) of beer only costs 20 crowns, less than 1 euro!

Oh and my toothbrush fell into the toilet bowl. WTF!

  2. haha then ud be glad to know i cancelled my trip to the pilsner urquell brewery =( its not open on weekends during winter! sobs

    so instead im going to kutna hora tmr, where there is a chapel made of human bones!!!

    got a new toothbrush first thing in the morning, gotta keep that minty breath
